GoLab holds a safe space for individuals and groups to have candid conversations, develop plans, and process issues together in real-time.
The process begins by creating a safe place for convening others and gathering feedback. We frame the meeting around the questions and goals that bring us together. In formal environments, an agenda is designed and shared in advance of the meeting to model the experience we are trying to create in the world. We share ideas, stories, relationships, and conceptual models and reflect on them together. This often provides unconventional connections that add value to the process. We also collect and organize our journey capital in different ways and challenge each other to think through all of the possibilities until the right [X] – ideas, connections, or experiences – emerge. Often we identify experiments that would be useful to test a new hypothesis that we develop together. We then identify next steps and update the master schedule. Available time and energy are key considerations. It is important that everyone is honest about their own limitations.
